Polymer fiber winding (Curved Polymer Fiber) "POLIARM"

fibra Curved Polymer   FiberRigid polymer fiber is used instead of steel fibers for reinforcement of cement mortars. Compared with steel fibers, it is easier to spread and mixed in cement mixing, without bringing harm concrete mixing and feed equipment. As a raw material for the production of hard polymer fibers have a primary polypropylene. This type of fiber has a high tensile strength. Scope of

Reinforcementof heavy concrete, increasing the strength characteristics ofindustrial ties, strengthening the design characteristics offoundations, paving slabs, etc.

Effect of

Theuse of rigid polymer fiber can significantly reduce costs compared tothe use of steel fibers (specific gravity of steel fibers atapproximately 9 times greater, respectively, the number of individualfibers - less). Polymer fiber does not adversely impact on the faucets and distributors of concrete and not subject to corrosion.

Instructions for use

Dosage. Volumefraction of reinforcing fibers in heavy concrete shall be not less than0,3%, which corresponds to 2.7 kg of hard polymer fibers. Dependingon the type of concrete and conditions of use recommended amount ofrigid polypropylene fibers varies within the following limits:

  • Industrial flooring, screed: 2,7-4,7 kg / m 3 (equivalent to 25-40 kg of steel fibers)
  • Structural elements of residential buildings: 2,9-5,8 kg / m 3 (equivalent to 25-50 kg of steel fibers)
  • Structural elements of tunnels, roads, mines: 5,8-11,6 kg / m 3 (equivalent to 50-100 kg of steel fibers)
  • Hydraulic structures (dams, bridges), bank storage: 11,6-14,0 kg / m 3 (equivalent to 100-120 kg of steel fibers).

Fiber length: to make heavy concrete necessary resistance to cracking using fiber length of not less than 40 mm.

Blend. Thefiber is added to the mixer at the primary stage, together with stoneand sand, after stirring for 2 minutes, the fiber is distributedevenly, and you can add cement and water. Youcan also use various additives and plasticizers, but in this case it isnot mandatory recommendation as the use of steel fibers. Specialconditions for the production of concrete with a hard polymer fiber isnot required, the technology of preparation of concrete is notmodified.
